Continuation of the MKUP set that I bought~~ （＾ω＾） Previously I reviewed their Real Complexion Cream, now I will be reviewing the MKUP Calendula Extract Deep Pore Cleansing Mousse! It is a foaming cleanser that deep cleanses the pores while hydrating your skin. Scroll down to see how it fares!
Product: Calendula Extract Deep Pore Cleansing Mousse
Overall Rating: 3.7/5
The silicon bristles are flexible and soft, making it able to scrub without tugging the skin.
The foam that is dispensed upon pressing is pretty watery, thus it tends to drip down the face while scrubbing. Not as thick as what they say it is. (︶︹︺)
The bristles are very soft so it feels really nice when you use it to scrub your face.
Be careful and avoid the eye area. It is quite hard though since the foam is watery. I could not get it nice and thick like what they showed in their pictures. It got all over my eyes and is quite painful when I open my eyes. （> ｡\ )
It contains Calendula extract that hydrates and is anti-inflammatory, Oat extract and moisturising agents contents to make the skin more hydrated, and Edelweiss extract that firms and repairs damaged skin..I measured the before and after for both me and my boyfriend. First set of reading is mine and second set is his~
1st row – Forehead
2nd row – Right Cheek
3rd row – Left Cheek
Based on the skin analyzer:
Hydration level of skin has improved on the cheeks area but not on forehead. Skin is smoother on the cheeks of my boyfriend, but stayed the same for me.
Based on own senses:
Skin feels smoother and does not feel tight after cleansing.
Whire/Black Heads Removal
The amount of white/black heads removed are not as amazing as what the MKUP’s videos show. Upon pressing, white heads still can be squeezed out. However, they did lessen and the nose feels much smoother after cleansing.
The things I like about this MKUP Calendula Extract Deep Pore Cleansing Mousse is the soft scrub and gentle removal of my whiteheads. I don’t really like the texture of the foam as it is too watery and gets messy easily. Results are okay, but not as fantastic as claimed.
